I had such a lovely time---seeing family, meeting Em and Matt's friends, watching Matt's tears fall as Em walked down the aisle, hearing the rain fall as we sang "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing," seeing the sun shine through the windows of the chapel when the ceremony was over, watching my dad give Emily away--it was just a wonderful weekend. Matt was one of the sweetest grooms I have every seen. Their love for each other was so encouraging, and their pastor did an excellent job at the ceremony of linking their love to Christ's love for his bride. The congregation even got to participate in the ceremony by promising to support the newlyweds. It was a traditional Anglican ceremony. The only hitch was the pastor forgetting to have the congregation sing "In Christ Alone." Justin and Audey took it in stride, though, and everything else went according to plan! I can't wait to visit the married couple in July when Justin and I celebrate our 4th anniverary by taking a roadtrip to D.C.! Here are some shots from the wedding (I took over 300 pics!).
