Newer Songs

I got a camcorder, and I recorded some of my newer songs (from last year and a 1/2). Enjoy the wonderful scenes of my house! (No, you don't get to see my ghetto guitar playing, only hear it. :) More songs to come soon.

This song is a hymn found in an article my Bible study leader gave me entitled "The Hidden Hope of Lament." She mentioned that the tune of the song never matches the words so full of sorrow and lament. I took that as a challenge and tried to write music that matched the beautiful, heart-wrenching words. It's called "Hiding in Thee."

Ethan and KT's Visit

I had such fun celebrating Ethan's first birthday when he and Kaitie came to visit. He tried his first brownie and loved it! He also loved playing with his birthday balloon. Here are some photos of the visit. We had a sweet cuddle time after I changed his diaper. He even pulled me down for a kiss! What a sweet boy!
